John Warren

JOHN WARREN (Writer/Director), a native of Dayton, Ohio, began his writing career as a journalist. In 1986 he received a screenwriting fellowship to the American Film Institute.

Warren's script, "Naked in New York," was a Fine Line Films release produced by Martin Scorsese. He wrote and co-produced the independent film "Girl in the Cadillac" and wrote the HBO film "Flash Fire." In 1996, Warren wrote and directed "The Curse of Inferno," starring Pauly Shore and Janine Turner.

His produced television credits are: "Nightmare Cafe" for NBC, "Johnny Bago" for CBS, "The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr." (two episodes) and "Fortune Hunter" for Fox.

As a writer, Warren's scripts in development are "Supermodel" for Disney, "Tark the Shark" at Showtime and "Passionate Kiss," a romantic comedy for DreamWorks, which he will co-produce.
